At Rusty Bucket Acres Farm, we believe in providing the best-life possible for our animals. We work hard to provide for longevity through controlled diet and good health practices. We work with a nutritionist and exceptional vet who assist and provide us with exemplary care and guidelines for the best life at the farm. Our farm has been a true labor of love, and we are dedicated to continuing this legacy for generations to come.

Our Promise To The Family

We at Rusty Bucket Acres know the importance of hard work. Although Lorna and Shelly work the farm alone, they do seriously appreciate their supporters. Volunteers and Supporters are essential. They want to show their gratitude for those of you who assist with farm chores and projects or those who make in-kind donations but no one does it better than the farmily.

Farmers Markets

We sell farm fresh eggs when available and have a wonderful network of local Afton farms that offer fresh organic meats, fruits and vegetables, fresh cut flowers and honey. This network is shared with our FarmFriends.

Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in learning more about the amazing animals at RBA and getting your hands dirty? We offer volunteer opportunities throughout the year, where you can work alongside our farmers and learn about the day-to-day operations of our farm. It's a great way to give back to your community and learn new skills. We welcome all abilities and ages for volunteer activities.

RBA Farm Friends

Chicken Tender

$100-$199

This level donor helps provide needs for the spring babies. This is the most necessary part of daily like on the farm. All money from this donation goes directly into the feed and bedding for the animals. Barnyard Buddy Donation

This level of donor recognizes the ongoing need for good health and veterinary care. All money from this donation goes directly into the health and vet care for the animals. Pasture Partner Donation

In order for the animals to have a safe and healthy living environment, daily maintenance of the barn and pasture are a must. All money goes directly to materials and repairs at the farm. Hey, Bailers Donation

Mulch paths, shaded visiting areas, waste and recycling containers, water stations and accessibility areas are top priorities of the farm.
